She is a Mambo Asongwe, also known as Ati Florence Deltor-Jean-Joseph, who was born and raised in Les Anglais. She completed her primary studies at Ecole Immaculee Conception des Anglais and her secondary studies at College Marie-Anne and Christ the King Secretarial School in Port-au-Prince. She pursued her studies in Educational Sciences at Queens College in New York. 


Manbo Florence received her initiation "Koushe Kanzo" in the Ancestral Voodoo Society Miwa, guided by Mama Lola, also known as Alourdes Lovinski.

On March 7, 2026, Mambo Florence Deltor-Jean-Joseph was elected the new Ati Nasyonal of Ancestral Voodoo, marking a significant moment for the vodou community.

The National Confederation of Haitian Vodou Practitioners (KNVA) proudly introduces Ati Florence Deltor-Jean-Joseph as the new National Ati. The newly appointed Ati calls upon all practitioners of Ancestral Voodoo throughout the country to come together in unity, with the goal of enhancing the image of the vodou sector.
